In this letter to the editor of Fisheries Research, the members of the Lenfest Forage Fish Task Force respond to a 2017 paper in that journal that critiques their 2012 report, Little Fish, Big Impact. The journal also published a rebuttal to the letter, by the authors of the 2017 critique.
