On Wednesday, May 12th, 2021, we continued our Species on the Move Webinar Series with "New Research on Adaptive Allocation for Transboundary Fish Stocks" featuring Dr. Rod Fujita, Environmental Defense Fund, Dr. Juliano Palacios, University of Wisconsin- Madison, Dr. Chris Dumas, University of North Carolina- Wilmington, Dr. Arielle Levine, San Diego State University, and Dr. Katie Longo, Marine Stewardship Council. They presented on their new project to investigate options for a system of adaptive allocation, including ecological and socioeconomic tradeoffs, for two important fisheries in the U.S. Mid-Atlantic: summer flounder and black sea bass.
